How do you have faith in yourself?
I think faith in yourself is a little different than confidence.
“Confidence comes from seeing what you’ve done in the past; while faith comes from knowing what you’ll do in the future.”
I have confidence in myself because I have seen the successes and the wins that I have had in the past.
And I let that confidence fuel my faith. I’m not sure what’s going to happen in the future, but I have faith that I’m going to do everything I can and for the right reasons.
While faith and confidence in yourself is not the same, I do believe that confidence is a prerequisite to faith.
I have faith in myself because I can reflect back on how I’ve performed during uncertain times in my past.
I have faith in myself because I have proven that I’m the type of person who follows through with the promises that I make to myself regardless of the circumstances.
Build up that proof for yourself.
Be the person who follows through.
Don’t be the traditional 20 or 30-year old and be flaky.
No one likes a flaky person. Flaky people don’t even like themselves.
Be a person of your word; be a person who follows through.
Then your self-confidence will grow and, in turn, so will your faith in yourself.
